At VSP, we believe that putting people first is the right thing to do.
Our involvement in the community is extensive, from a national program that provides free eyecare services to low-income and uninsured children, to a paid volunteer program that enables our employees to support worthy causes.
We recognize and encourage the community service efforts of our employees and promote the charitable efforts of our clients, doctors and their staffs through awards and monetary donations.

Our Sight for Students program provides eye exams and eyeglasses to children of low-income, uninsured families. This program has helped more than 410,000 children receive free eyecare services since it began in 1997.
What started as an extension of our relief efforts after hurricanes Katrina and Rita is now a permanent part of our community outreach. We’re bringing eyecare and eyewear to people in need through our mobile clinic, VSP Mobile EyesSM.
