Like many companies, VSP® Vision Care takes pride in being a good neighbor. Through our new Eyes of Hope Program, we’re partnering with communities near and far to help serve the more than one billion people globally who cannot afford or do not have access to eyewear.
VSP’s Eyes of Hope Program boosts awareness about the importance of eye health while providing an opportunity for the community to support a charitable cause. Once donated glasses are received by VSP, they’re refurbished, cleaned, and labeled to benefit those in need in the U.S. and in developing countries through world missions.
When it comes to eyewear donation, Hollywood has heart. At a recent event, television and movie stars such as Hayden Panettiere (Heroes), Kevin Dillon (Entourage), Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix), and Christian Siriano (Project Runway, Season Four winner) showed their support of this important effort.
